The day I asked myself, "what exactly is Twitter?" I went to Twitter's home page, and clicked on a button that said, "Watch a video*."
That's when I discovered Common Craft's lovely explanatory video style.
I love the simple, low-tech yet very elegant style of Common Craft videos. The company specializes in wide-interest educational video covering internet, financial or other subjects, explained in no more than four minutes and in plain English. It is surprising how complex subjects can be explained simply with paper cut-outs. That kind of simplicity takes a lot of skill.
